What is uLite?

A cash discount is a discounted cost of the full price a business charges for goods and services. Merchants may charge the full price for consumers paying by credit card, while providing a discount for consumers paying with cash.

How it works
Set Cash Prices
A cash discount works by applying a small customer service fee on all customer transactions. You place prices for your service or goods that will be the cash discount prices. Any customer purchasing an item with a card will have a service fee added to all of their transactions.
Automatic Calculation
The service fee is removed if the customer pays with cash or in-store gift card. uLite proprietary software will automatically determine the service fee or discount amounts depending on the payment type. Legal cash discount programs must present a clear receipt detailing the service fee or cash discount amount.
Fee Reduced
Service fees are collected by the technology provider who then pays off the credit card charges on behalf of the merchant, essentially removing the need for any back-end accounting or complex statements. The merchant will usually see their credit card fees dramatically reduced with only a small technology fee to pay at the end of the month.
